Seamless and Transparent Fundraising for Projects right inside your Group Chats

Once you sign up on Talkaado, click on the Red chat button in the lower right-hand screen on your dashboard and select “New Group”. A list of all your contacts who are signed unto Talkaado will appear. Select those you want to add to the group and click the Green Arrow at the bottom of your screen. You would be taken to a field to fill in all the details about the New Group you are about to create. Once this is done, your group has been successfully created.

Withdrawing from a project wallet is seamless and straightforward. After the target fund has been met or the stipulated time frame for contribution of funds has elapsed; the Group Admin will simply click on withdraw and the funds will go into the group bank account already provided.

You pay Talkaado just a small percentage (e.g. 1.5% or more) of every pay out transaction. Every other feature such as the group chats, direct messaging and creating project fundraisers, are free to use.

The Group Admin selects the events option in the settings and follow the process on the Talkaado App to input:  name of event or project, amount to be raise and period for donation. Once the project is created it will appear in the group dashboard. Members of the group can begin to make donations into the project wallet using their preferred gateway- e.g. Flutterwave, PayPal and VCASH.

As an App user you can also set up a private “Help Me Projects” for your particular needs or another person who is not a member of any group. In settings, click on My Events/Project to create a project. Be sure to provide a clear description of the need, your target amount, the deadline, and a verified bank account for withdrawal. Once the project is created you can post this on your Talkaado status and also share to your other social media pages. You may also choose to include relevant pictures with proofs that could persuade viewers to support you.
